Sam Bobrick is a famed comedy writer. He wrote NORMAN IS THAT YOU. He created SAVED BY THE BELL. He was one of the writers of the original WIZ on Broadway. I met Sam and his wife Julie at a dinner party at Kates house and from the moment we met some 20 years ago we were instant friends. I adore the man, theres not many comedy writers I would say that about, but Sam I love. So Sam started sending me mean evil emails to be funny and I would respond with something as evil and mean. The game is to try to top the other one with something meaner and more horrible and this has been going on for about ten year. Sometimes Julie sees the emails and cannot believe her eyes. But Sam and I laugh hysterically over each horrific email. His torture of me has expanded. Every so often he will drop off a horrific gift. i.e.: I got a witches leg lamp one year. Yesterday Sam and Julie came over and dropped off a box... of 30 year old ties. Each tie uglier than the next... I wanted to make Sam laugh...so when they left I took a photo of myself and the ties... too personal to share on Facebook... but if you are someone I know personally, not just a Facebook friend, PM me and I will send you the photo that made Julie laugh for about five minutes.
