Sam had his levels checked in Saturday around noon, and when we called for results they said he needed to some platelets. We had the option of doing them last night or today. We chose to go ahead and take care of them so Sunday we could have off. After his transfusion, he began running a low grade fever. We left the hospital with hopes that it would fall. After his bath, it was still higher than we wanted. We went back to St. Judes where they gave him antibiotics and checked him out. His counts were in the safe zone, so they felt like he was ok to leave. We will watch him today and go back tonight if needs another round of antibiotics. Our prayer is that he is fever free and no infections or anything, so they can get the stem cells needed on Monday! #samstrong
