Sami was wicked excited this morning to get all those pennies for school! Shes usually really hard to get up in the mornings but this morning she jumped RIGHT up when I told her there was a surprise for her and not her sister on the table :) the penny drive her school is doing is actually called a penny war. Each grade has to collect as many pennies as possible, but other grades can sabotage the other grades (as she put it lol) by putting in money other than pennies and for everything thats not a penny, they get that many pennies worth subtracted. Like, for example, she said 6th graders put in 14 $1 bills into the 5th graders jars so even tho the school keeps ALL the pennies, they will automatically have 1400 pennies deducted from their final count. Sami is devious so she told me I grabbed 8 quarters to put in the 6th graders jar so they will have to subtract 200 pennies! And it went along with her devilish grin lmao when she saw her baggy full of pennies she said I think thats definitely more than the 1400 pennies we needed to counteract the dollars they put in our jars! Im glad shes getting all into this Spirit Week thing :)
