Sampling of Paul / sampling of Tanakh Romans 3: 19 And we know that whatever the Torah says, it says to those who are in the Torah, so that every mouth might be stopped, and all the world come under judgment before Elohim. 20 Therefore by works of Torah no flesh shall be declared right before Him, for by the Torah is the knowledge of sin. 27 Where, then, is the boasting? It is shut out. By what Torah? Of works? No, but by the Torah of belief. 28 For we reckon that a man is declared right by belief without works of Torah. Rom 4:15 for the Torah works out wrath, for where there is no Torah there is no transgression. Romans 5: 19 For as through the disobedience of one man many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One many shall be made righteous. 20 And the Torah came in beside, so that the trespass would increase. But where sin increased, favour increased still more, ROMANS 7: 5 For when we were in the flesh, the passions of sins, through the Torah, were working in our members to bear fruit to death. 6 But now we have been released from the Torah, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in newness of Spirit and not in oldness of letter. 7 What, then, shall we say? For apart from Torah sin is dead. 9 And I was alive apart from the Torah once, but when the command came, the sin revived, and I died. Rom 8:3 For the Torah being powerless, in that it was weak through the flesh, Elohim, having His own Son in the likeness of flesh of sin, and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh, Rom 8:7 Because the mind of the flesh is enmity towards Elohim, for it does not subject itself to the Torah of Elohim , neither indeed is it able 1 Co15: 56 And the sting of death is the sin, and the power of the sin is the Torah *************************************** Exo 16:4 And יהוה said to Mosheh, “See, I am raining bread from the heavens for you. Deu 27:26 ‘Cursed is he who does not establish the Words of this Torah.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amĕn!’ Deu 28:58 “If you do not guard to do all the Words of this Torah that are written in this book, to fear this esteemed and awesome Name, יהוה your Elohim, Deu 28:61 also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in the book of this Torah, יהוה does bring upon you until you are destroyed. Jos 1:7 “Only be strong and very courageous, to guard to do according to all the Torah which Mosheh My servant commanded you. Do not turn from it right or left, so that you act wisely wherever you go. Jos 1:8 “Do not let this Book of the Torah depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you guard to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and act wisely. Jos 23:6 “And you shall be very strong to guard and to do all that is written in the Book of the Torah of Mosheh, so as not to turn aside from it right or left, View more not fear other mighty ones. 2Ki 21:8 and no more shall I cause the feet of Yisra’ĕl to move from the soil which I gave their fathers – only if they guard to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the Torah that My servant Mosheh commanded them.” 2Ki 23:25 And before him there was no sovereign like him, who turned back to יהוה with all his heart, and with all his being, and with all his might, according to all the Torah of Mosheh; and after him none rose up like him. 2Ch 6:16 “And now, יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, guard what You promised Your servant Dawiḏ my father, saying, ‘There is not to cease a man of yours before Me, sitting on the throne of Yisra’ĕl – only, if your sons guard their way, to walk in My Torah as you have walked before Me.’ Neh 9:14 “And You made known to them Your set-apart Sabbath, and You commanded them commands and laws and Torot , by the hand of Mosheh Your servant. Neh 9:29 and warned them, to bring them back to Your Torah. But they acted proudly, and did not obey Your commands, and sinned against Your right-rulings, ‘which if a man does, he shall live by them.’ And they gave the rebellious shoulder and hardened their necks, and would not hear. Neh 9:34 “And our sovereigns, our rulers, our priests, and our fathers, have not done Your Torah, nor heeded Your commands and Your witnesses, with which You witnessed against them. Neh 10:28 And the rest of the people, the priests, the Lĕwites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the Nethinim, and all those who had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands unto the Torah of Elohim, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, all who had knowledge and understanding, Neh 10:29 were joining with their brothers, their nobles, and were entering into a curse and into an oath to walk in the Torah of Elohim, which was given by Mosheh the servant of Elohim, and to guard and do all the commands of יהוה our Master, and His right-rulings and His laws, Psa 37:31 The Torah of his Elohim is in his heart ; His steps do not slide. Psa 78:1 My people, give ear to my Torah , Incline your ears to the words of my mouth. Isa 2:3 And many peoples shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of יהוה, to the House of the Elohim of Yaʽaqoḇ, and let Him teach us His ways , and let us walk in His paths , for out of Tsiyon comes forth the Torah , and the word of יהוה from Yerushalayim.” Isa 5:24 Therefore, as a tongue of fire devours the stubble, and the flame consumes the chaff, their root is as rottenness, and their blossom goes up like dust – because they have rejected the Torah of יהוה of hosts, and despised the word of the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl. Isa 8:20 To the Torah and to the witness! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because they have no daybreak . And the coastlands wait for His Torah.” Isa 42:24 Who gave Yaʽaqoḇ for plunder, and Yisra’ĕl to the robbers? Was it not יהוה, He against whom we sinned? For they would not walk in His ways, and they did not obey His Torah! Jer 6:19 “Hear, O earth! See, I am bringing evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not listened to My words, nor My Torah – and they rejected it. Jer 9:13 And יהוה says, “Because they have forsaken My Torah which I set before them, and have not obeyed My voice, nor walked according to it, Jer 16:11 then you shall say to them, ‘Because your fathers have forsaken Me,’ declares יהוה, ‘and have walked after other mighty ones and served them and bowed themselves to them, and have forsaken Me, and did not guard My Torah. Jer 18:18 Then they said, “Come and let us devise plans against Yirmeyahu, for the Torah shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not listen to any of his words.” Jer 26:4 “And you shall say to them, ‘Thus said יהוה, “If you do not listen to Me, to walk in My Torah which I set before you, Jer 32:23 ‘And they came in and possessed it, but they did not obey Your voice nor did they walk in Your Torah. They did not do all that You commanded them to do, so You brought all this evil upon them. Jer 44:10 ‘To this day they have not been humbled, nor have they feared, nor have they walked in My Torah and in My laws that I set before you and your fathers.’ Jer 44:23 “Because you have burned incense and because you have sinned against יהוה, and did not obey the voice of יהוה or walk in His Torah, in His laws or in His witnesses, therefore this evil did befall you, as at this day.” Lam 2:9 Her gates have sunk into the ground. He has destroyed and broken her bars. Her sovereign and her rulers are among the gentiles. The Torah is no more, And her prophets have found no vision from יהוה. Dan 9:11 “And all Yisra’ĕl have transgressed Your Torah, and turned aside, so as not to obey Your voice. So the curse and the oath written in the Torah of Mosheh the servant of Elohim have been poured out on us, for we have sinned against Him. Dan 9:13 “As it is written in the Torah of Mosheh, all this evil has come upon us, and we have not entreated the face of יהוה our Elohim, to turn back from our crookednesses, and to study Your truth. Hos 4:6 “My people have perished for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being priest for Me. Since you have forgotten the Torah of your Elohim, I also forget your children. Amo 2:4 Thus said יהוה, “For three transgressions of Yehuḏah, and for four, I do not turn it back, because they have rejected the Torah of יהוה, and did not guard His laws. And their lies after which their fathers walked led them astray. Mal 2:6 “The Torah of truth was in his mouth, and unrighteousness was not found on his lips. He walked with Me in peace and straightness, and turned many away from crookedness. Mal 2:7 “For the lips of a priest should guard knowledge, and they seek the Torah from his mouth, for he is the messenger of יהוה of hosts. Mal 2:9 “And I also, I shall make you despised and low before all the people, because you are not guarding My ways, and are showing partiality in the Torah.
