You can begin from the post titled: “LACK of PREACHING, TEACHING & DECLARING THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF GOD PRODUCES….WHAT?” and back to today’s post, which is “WAKE UP my friend! WHAT IS GOING ON IN YOUR CITY!” You can clearly see what the Lord’s strategy is and whether the house of God in a city is being destroyed or not! If this does not satisfy you, come back and I will to address your issue in my next post. Well, I have decided not just kill time arguing and discuss answering unfruitful things. I am ready to accept and address genuine questions and especially to help those who are willing to be enlightened with the mystery of God’s administration. (I am not saying this because I saw problems with your question here.No) Having said this, let me ask you few questions: tell me first in which city you are living, how many denominations are there in the city you live, what they all stand for; whether they all stand for the climax purpose and decree of the Lord Jesus, clearly stated in Mathew 16:18 or for something else. As to the Lords decree in this text: let me ask you this: Can you carry out the work of building when there is division among all the born again believers in one city!? How on earth!? How is a house (a natural house) built up? How many houses does the Lord have in one city? Begin from the Bible first, then come to your situation! How many houses did the Lord have, for example in the city of Ephesus? Only one! (1st Timothy 3:15). What was the Lord’s purpose, decree and command to all the saints who were in that particular city? For all of them (all the saints in that particular city) to be joined, blended and build up together to BECOME a glorious dwelling place for God. “In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.” There is only one single building of the Lord in one city (Eph2:21;). This whole building is joined together in Him (the Unique Christ) and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. How? When all the saved ones are perfected to become proper living stones who fits into the Lord’s glorious building and be built up together with the rest of the saints in that particular city! The same truth is repeated in 1st Corinthians 3. In 3:9 you have the single building; in 1cor.3:10-15, you have the unique master blue print of the building process or the unique way of its building process; then in 1cor3:16-17, you have the temple! So you have the clear steps here: 1. The unique foundation--->Christ 2. The unique building which being built up with gold, silver & precious stones only (cf. 1st Cor;3:10-14) 3. The growth of the building to BECOME -->The Holy Temple of God! Now, when the saints in one city are divided, separate from each other and scatters into many different groups, denominations and so on, does the building of the Lord in that particular city grow? Read Eph2:21 again! The building rises meaning it grows! Or it rises whenever it grows! Division destroys the temple of the Lord in one city!
