Samsung Electronics posted a job you might be interested in Samsung Electronics Technical Retail Services Specialist LeaderGreater New York City Area, US - Retail, Wireless Summary: Responsible, under minimal supervision, for serving as the primary customer interface and service program specialist. This role will serve as a technical resource for STA wireless products and support the product sales team. Works independently, and considered a seasoned and experienced professional with adequate understanding of own job area. Determines approach to work, and is monitored/supervised based more on milestone basis, and at key deliverable junctures. May instruct or coach other professionals. Responsibilities: Responsible for providing on-site technical support solution within key strategic accounts through customer service delivery, technical solutions, professional advice, counsel by telephone, web-chat, email and/or in person Responsible for technicians hiring and training within the retail store environment Build and manage a professional relationship with one of Samsungs most strategic customers Assist in reporting results and forecast anticipated areas of concern Lead and create the development of retail services program Review and analyze technical competitive literature to prepare comparisons to existing STA system features Provide recommendations for added features and services by creating technical reports detailing the ways of putting these services and features into STA products Conduct analysis to determine industry trends and maintain a competitive edge Communicate with vendors of products and services that are used in conjunction with STA products, and complete compatibility tests of these products and services to ensure interoperability with STA products Obtain pertinent technical documentation from various sources relative to new product development to enable STA products to meet general industry standards and regulatory requirements in order to provide competitive product offerings Assist SEC development teams in designing new products by identifying, locating, and ascertaining availability of component parts used in STA products Assist the STA technical support group in the resolution of complex services affecting customer problems by identifying the problems and making recommendations to the SEC engineering group on how to resolve them.
