Samuel L. Jackson Insults Police Officers Everywhere, Encourages Other Celebrities to do the Same Actor Samuel L. Jackson is no stranger to controversial statements, but this latest one is an insult to the brave men and women in blue who put their lives on the line protecting their communities every day. Ignoring the fact that the arrest of Eric Garner in New York, that unfortunately resulted in his death, was supervised by a black female sergeant, Jackson used that incident to brand all police as racist. In a YouTube video, Jackson encouraged all those celebrities out there who poured ice water on their head (a reference to the ALS challenge) to join him in singing a song that labeled all police as racist. Will you think twice before paying money to see another Samuel L. Jackson movie?
