Samuel Osei Kuffour is suggesting that Kwasi Nyantakyi should step down, and if he fails to do so, the govt should step in and even if thatll lead to a 2-year ban from FIFA so be it. He is suggesting that the govt hounds out KN. What happened to adhering to laid-down rules? The FA goes to congress next year, im told. Why cant he wait for that time, make himself available to be voted for if he thinks he can do it better, or betterstill wage a campaign for someone else to unseat KN? Ignorance. Selfishness. At play. Ignorance: Doesnt he know that even if we finish serving the 2-year ban he is praying we get, FIFA will insist that we re-instate Kwasi Nyantakyi before we will be accepted back into their organisation? Failure to do so will lead to more stringent bans. If he didnt know, someone should please tell him for me. Ghana is not Germany, Brazil, Spain or even England; banning us for 100 years will be something so easy for them to do. FIFA will NEVER EVER bend its rules just to appease an African govt. Selfishness: If we are banned for 2 years, our national teams will not be the only teams to suffer. Kwasi Nyantakyi will not be directly affected. At least he has a profession he can easily fall on to. What about that 17-year-old cousin of yours who is attending a soccer academy? Or doesnt he know that such a ban will affect all aspects of football in the country? Our local league, Division One et al, will all be banned. Footballers of Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, Aduana Stars, Asokwa Deportivo, Tano Bofoakwa, you-just-name-them, will all lose their jobs. He will not suffer same fate, thanks to SuperSport, hell go and sit in their studios, talk and get paid. He just does not care because he will not lose anything when were banned. If this is not selfishness, then what is it?
