San Diego Comic Con registration is this Saturday as we all know. This has brought out the seedy bits of Comic Con in backhanded posts over on the official Facebook page. By stating that scalping is prohibited they have inadvertently admitted to the fact that they still have a problem. Further reading on the official page will reveal comments from others talking about the badges for sale in the Gaslamp District during the con. I know that when I left the con early one day to get a snack several people asked for me badge or offered my money for it. San Diego Comic Con may be hard to get into but if you have the extra money and willingness to buy suspect badges on the streets then you can get in just as easily as Seth Green or Kevin Smith.
