San Francisco. Did you know Robin Williams, the actor, first started in show business here. The film, Mrs Doughtfire, the house is just a few blocks away from my hotel. Theres a building about 15 mins walk, a domey type building, this is where George Lucas got his idea to create R2d2. Originally, San Francisco was nothing but mud and sand until a Scottish man, yep, Scottish person starting growing grass and trees. All he did was mixed horse shit to the ground. The film, bullitt, starred Steve McQueen was filmed in and around here and Dirty Harry, 1971, with Clint Eastwood too. The very popular tv cop series, the streets of San Francisco, starring Michael Douglas and Karl Malden was also filmed here. Full of information, arent I? :))
