Sandra Smith, acclaimed translator and Senior Member of Robinson, will be speaking at 7pm this Thursday at the Cultural Services of the French Embassy. Smith, whose translation of Irène Némirovsky and Albert Camus has earned her international plaudits, will be speaking about the challenges of translation, and will follow with a discussion and questions from the audience.
