Sandra asked: Just checking if anyone has any advice for me. I have a white Shepherd. She is 86 pounds and 11 months old. She limps, and cries if she gets up too fast and when she runs down stairs. I am worried about her because she is too young to feel this bad already. I have taken her to the vet and he says it is because she grew so big so fast and gave her some medication. He also advised us to teach her how not run down stairs so fast. (I am not sure how to do that). Even though she is a gentle giant she is still a puppy. The medication seemed to work until this past weekend she has started limping and whining. My second problem with her is her uncontrolled shedding. It is terrible. Big clumps everywhere and we brush her every day to two days. My last Shepherd did not shed this bad.
