Sandy Lyttle is a VMM Nurse Trainer in the School of Nursing in Mabesseneh-Lunsar, Sierra Leone. She’s been there for two years now, working alongside the African team of Trainers. She’s just extended her contract for a third year because she wants to see a specific cohort of students qualify and graduate – students who started their training when she started to work there, and are now in their final year of training. A Board member from VMM, Jonathan Kay, who recruited Sandy to the position, has just returned from a partner visit to Sierra Leone. He noted the excellent and vital work that the Nurse Tutors are doing in the field of Nurse Training. He was very impressed by the team’s energy and enthusiasm for the work of the School of Nursing. Thanks, Sandy!
