Sandy Shares: They should call Black Friday, Black Eye Friday. It is absolutely ridiculous and pathetic the way people act over stuff. When it is all said and done the new smartphone people bought today (After buying a new one only a year before) or that new 60 inch television isnt going to bring you happiness and when you pass on, you wont be taking it with you. The materialism in this morally declining country never ceases to amaze me. Did many of these people consider volunteering at a soup question of donating a few dollars to help the poor so they had a Thanksgiving dinner. Did many of these people wave and be friendly on Thanksgiving and then only a day later want to punch someone out at Wal-Mart because he or she may have taken the last pair of three dollar socks? This evening or tomorrow, we will once again hear about the rudeness of people at places like Best Buy and Target and about violence being committed over stuff. What a sad and ridiculous day, Black Friday is.
