Sandy continues to improve slowly. Tomorrow she may be transferred to a rehab hospital that has a higher state of care for its patients. She will still be on dialysis and has a feeding tube right now. While she is no longer on the ventilator, she does have a trach tube in hooked up to oxygen. She is quite weak but coming along. She is fully alert and understands what is going on. She has had a slight temperature, but it has not been determined what the source is and is therefore receiving antibiotics to treat it.
