Santa Fe County Seeks Corrections Advisory Committee Members Santa Fe County has seven vacancies for citizens to serve on the Santa Fe County Corrections Advisory Committee. The seven voting members will be appointed to the Corrections Advisory Committee by the Santa Fe Board of County Commissioners (BCC). Committee members are volunteers appointed by the BCC to assist both the BCC and Santa Fe County Corrections Department staff. The current vacancies are from the following areas: • Medical/Substance Abuse Treatment Community • League of Women Voters • Public Defender’s Office • Legal Community • Immigrant Advocacy Community • Employee of the City of Santa Fe Police Department who is an active participant in the group referred to as the Brown Bag Group • At - Large Member from any Commission District The Corrections Advisory Committee may hold up to six meetings annually.
