And so it is . 55Quando you feel the south wind blow , ye say it will soon be warm . And so it is . 56Hipócritas ! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky . How can you not know how to interpret the present time ? 57Por do not you judge for yourselves what is right ? 58Quando therefore thou goest with thine adversary to present yourself before the magistrate, to resolve the case with him while you are on the way. Otherwise it will take you to the judge , the judge deliver thee to the officer , and the guard will throw you in jail . 59Eu tell you : you shall not go there , until you have paid the last penny . - Word of Salvation . - Glory to you , Lord . Reflection by Paulo Lourenço PePedro : FRIDAY , 25 OCTOBER 2013 Reflection: Gospel ( Luke 12,54-59 ) Kairos , Gods time . In kairos , the past is not lost , the future is not waiting for completion , but both are present. This is the point of convergence of past and future. Together , they form the kairos , the time unit of life. Kairos in the past ( faith ) is present as a memory of what was , the future becomes present as hope and dynamism of the search, this is the dialectical synthesis of what has been or will be expressed in the conflict of love lived . Memory, hope and conflict are the three faces of single time , life time , kairos , lived in the perspective of faith : I am He who is . Ie present , presence . Living by faith is to live in Gods presence , in Kairos . The present time is a gift from God Just as men can predict the weather from the signs of nature , it is also possible to recognize Jesus in the activity of the manifestation of Gods Kingdom . This urgent and necessary task involves a decision for or against United . We must act before its time Interpret the present time Interpret the present time is how to make a reflection of how we are living , the actions that we are practicing , justice or injustice that we are promoting before our brethren. Jesus teaches us to decipher through the facts and events the sign of God for our lives just as we distinguish the apparent signs that nature reveals to us in relation to climate , and other events , which help us to prevent and thus protect us from the weather . He instructs us how to give value to the present time of our lives and shows us that the revelations of the Father also manifest through facts and events of our day to day. As we perceive climate change , the rotations of the seasons , and detect if it comes rain or shine, we also need to be aware ( as) to the signs of God to interpret the present time of our life . Through various situations that we the Lord gives us the means for us to do justice and love . Therefore , our present moment is also a gift of God to us , is because we have a chance to put into practice . Decision time We only have one time to make a decision : is the present time . If not evaluate now, our life , maybe later no longer have time for repentance . Therefore , the time is now , if you are going through some difficult time of suffering or illness, if you are not understanding anything that has happened in your life or with your family , take a vote of confidence to the Lord and seek notice the signs are evident . The Holy Spirit wants to lead them in the best direction and , besides, God must be wanting to build a new man or a woman , acrisolados , purified .
