Santthosh: With the greatest respect, the path of wisdom as you have explained it does not, in my understanding, and also from a Sethian perspective, go far enough. Perhaps the best way to illustrate what I am saying is in the 10 Ox Herding pictures or otherwise known as the Ten Bulls of Chaan Buddhism. In one of the pictures the ox herder comes to the realization that everything is not as it appears or in other words he realizes formlessness or in Sethian terms camouflage - the valleys and mountains are no longer as they appear – or what I understand as collapsing the wave function in quantum physics. At the next stage he accepts the illusory nature of the world of form for what it is. In the tenth picture, after, in oriental terminology, enlightenment, realization or awakening, or in occidental terminology and in Seth’s words, cosmic consciousness – the flowering of human consciousness - he takes a bottle of wine and a loaf of bread and goes to the marketplace to join his friends. From the Zen tradition - before enlightenment chop wood, carry water, after enlightenment chop wood, carry water – nothing special. As Seth says, the maturation process must be encountered and then the gifts shared. Otherwise why would the sages of old have written down their songs of realization if not as an outpouring of love and a sharing of their realization? Seth does talk about other rarified and relatively unpopulated levels of consciousness where the soul encounters its massive store of knowledge. These are only words, it is the realization, the experience that matters. From a fellow traveller on the Way.
