At the sidelines of the Family Day with Jollibee and Sarah G. held at the Trinoma Mall in Quezon City last Sunday, the long-time fast food endorser said she just got to know the young actor better during the United States tour of her birthday concert. “Matteo is … an endearing person, napaka-lovable. Nakasama namin siya sa tour, lahat kami natuwa sa kanya. Unexpected na magiging masaya, ganun kasaya ang tour,” she said. “So iyun lang, nagkaroon ng mga bonding moments, ganyan at nagkakilala ang bawat isa, mas nakilala namin ang isa’t isa,” she clarified, belying that something other than friendship was involved. During the US tour of the singer-actress’ birthday concert, Geronimo and Guidicelli displayed extra sweetness on stage as they performed Prince’ song “Kiss.” Matteo kissed Sarah’s hand during the number. Sarah said she might not yet be ready to be romantically link to anyone at the moment, citing that she is all right being single. She, however, admits to hoping that Mr. Right would eventually come. “Sana naman po, ayoko pong tumanda mag-isa,” she said. Geronimo said she feels blessed with having several product endorsements like Jollibee, and different projects like “The Voice Philippines.” She is thankful to be part of “The Voice” and work with her fellow coaches – international entertainers Leah Salonga and Apl.d.ap and local singer Bamboo. She said she is happiest when sharing her talents and experience to budding singers and feels honored whenever she is chosen by contestants to be their mentor. Geronimo was also excited about reports that her last film with actor John Lloyd Cruz – “It Takes a Man and a Woman” – is considered the top grossing local film of this year. Asked if she is open for another sequel, “Sabi nga po ni John Lloyd, kung makakakuha tayo ng mas magandang material, bakit hindi sundan ng sequel? Pero kung wala, iwanan na lang natin ng sobrang successful na ganon.”
