Sarawak Society for the Prevention of Cruelty Towards Animals (SSPCA) is an organization to provide for the well-being of the animals in Sarawak who are abandoned, injured, subjected to unfair or cruel treatment. They believe that animals, as living creatures have value beyond economic measurement and are entitle for legal consideration and protection. They are also bringing awareness to the community to have a bond of mutual assistance between people and animals and appreciation of all living things. They are currently running a trap neuter and release programme, to neuter the strays and stop their breeding as population of stray animals are increasing. They are in need of funds for this programme to purchase the items and medication to neuter the strays. SSPCA is also one of our beneficiaries for our Charity Open Day and we hope more funds can be raised to help out the animals.
