Sarya and Paramaz commemorated at border vigil ANF - URFA 14.12.2014 12:30:30 MLKP (Marxist Leninist Communist Party) members fallen fighting in Kobanê have been commemorated at the resistance vigil going on at Suruç-Kobanê border for three months in solidarity with the struggle against the ISIS on the other side of the border. Parents of the MLKP fighter Suphi Necat Ağırnaslı (Paramaz Kızılbaş), who was martyred in Kobanê, Van independent deputy Aysel Tuğluk and ESP (Socialist Party of the Oppressed) deputy chair Fethiye Ok are among the hundreds of people joining todays human chain which is being traditionally formed to greet the Kobanê resistance since the beginning of the vigil at border. Speaking here, fallen MLKP fighter Ağırnaslı’s father Hikmet Acun said that; The history will mention Kobanê as a free land. It needs to be seen that Kobanê is the door leading to freedom, a small door opening a huge world. Remarking that the attacks of the world and imperialist powers on Kobanê aimed to choke the revolution and free future in Kobanê, Acun continued; These lands are not of the Kurds alone, this is the motherland of the future. Speaking after, Van independent deputy Aysel Tuğluk emphasised that those fighting in Kobanê struggled for the sake of not Kurds but of the future of humanity. “This is why the Kobanê resistance has made history for humanity”, she added.
