Sascha & Natascha Karabey 23. Dezember 2014 A Thank You To Our Friends In the Dancing World Ladies and Gentlemen it is with great regret combined with excitement for future endeavors that today we will announce the termination of our partnership and the retirement of Sascha. After almost a quarter of a century of dancing together we are happy that we have made such an impact on the dancing world and created a unique style. We are grateful for all the love and support we have received throughout the years and for all the friends we have made through dancing. The reason behind this conclusion is that we both wish to continue to pursue different ambitions in this period and we have to continue on separate paths to accomplish our goals in order to do well in all future happenings. Some may well know that the future of our parents studio lies in our hands and in order to arrange things smoothly we have to take over responsibility and to care for their wellbeing as they have so many years continuously supported our careers. As I am the older brother I will step in and Natascha will continue to dance with her boyfriend Domen Krapez. Still this is not the end of our success story as we plan future projects as joint venture. We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all our teachers, mentors and friends along our way from the early days until today. You have helped us to become what we became. Words cannot express how much we owe you all and as we do not want to point out names, as this is a very personal moment and about us, we are very sure you know who you are. Further we would like to thank our fellow dancers who have showed us great sport and compassion and who always challenged us to push our limits further and further. Without you, we could not have achieved what we have achieved. But competition is not the strongest force when you are in the pursuit for perfection, because in our experience the best inspiration comes from the performances you saw with your own eyes, heard with your own ears and felt with your own body. Therefore we would like to thank the Golden Era of dancing history for the wonderful exponents we had the joy and pleasure to witness. We would love to highlight the wonderful performances of Marcus and Karen Hilton MBE, Andrew Sinkinson-Charlotte Jörgensen, Luca Baricchi-Loraine Barry, Augusto Schiavo-Caterina Arzenton, William Pino-Alessandra Bucciarelli, Massimo Giorgianni-Alessia Manfredini, Fabio Selmi-Simona Fancello, and last but not least Oliver Wessel-Therhorn, the very special person in our lives that was taken from this world much too soon. Without his belief we would have never had the source of inspiration that was constantly driving us to get to the top of our own Era. Our next Thank you goes out to all the great musicians of this world who have given us with their artistry the platform to do what we did. Without music we would not be where we are and we could have not found the inspiration that took us beyond our dancing skills in competition when we created our own style of shows and demonstrations. Only music makes us as dancers complete and we should understand the importance of music as the keystone of our performances. Along our way we were fortunate to receive great appreciation abroad in Japan and we would like to express the dancing community of Japan that we are very thankful that you have adopted us in your family and gave us a second home far away from our own. Words can not describe how much we owe to the people of Japan and we send our love to you and you always remain in our hearts. A huge thank you goes out to our sponsors Marian Zofcin, Ray Rose Dance Shoes, Victoria Blitz, and all the others who have supported us during our career. Without your artistry and craftsmanship on can impossibly make it and also we want to thank the federations we represented in our career. We were always proud to represent Germany and the german dancing society at all major events of this world. Last but not least… The biggest Thank You needs to go out to our loving family, who has cared and helped us and strengthened us all those years in good and also in bad times and we also want to take this opportunity to thank each other. As different as we may have appeared to many, still we were brother and sister and no one and nothing can ever separate us. Even if we may separate in dancing for now, we will continue to work even closer together in the future. Our biggest strength in all these years was always that we stayed strong as a family and this will always remain our trademark. We wish to express our last thank you to all people in this World in love for dancing to join their hands and work for a positive future for the dancers. If we share the love for what we do, we will able to overcome all obstacles that may seem to lay in our way. Dancing is unique and should be protected and loved for being special and for being what we love and do best. Merry Christmas to all of you. Sascha and Natascha
