Sassism: The heart inside your chest is an organ by anatomical standards in the medical world, pumping blood to your other organs to sustain human life for oh, Id say about 75 years on the average. But in the sense of you, your soul, your being the one and only you in the entire universe, it is so much more and is responsible for so much more. It drives your passions, your fears, love, lust, jealousy, hate and sorrow. It moves you to act or withdraw. It breaks, it heals, it hardens, softens and warms. You can give it away, take it back, make it small or let it get bigger. It powers your smile, your tears, your hopes and fears. It flourishes with compassion, grace and mercy. You can lay it out there for all to see or keep it hidden. This heart, this beautiful thing given to each one of us by the One who has the most beautiful heart of all has made it to be eternal and created it to be given back to Him. Selah
