Sat 2 August 2014 Daily Post (page 25) reported that Tom Bayer, President of the Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, delivered a speech at the 2nd Pacific Business Forum held in Port-Vila from 25 to 27 June 2014 when the Independent (page 17), newspaper owned by Tom Bayer, clarified indirectly that Tom Bayer was addressing the EU agenda on behalf of the private sector of Vanuatu. Who is Tom Bayer but the business partner of Robert Bohn, the Hon. MP for Epi, both American naturalized citizens, who migrated to Vanuatu to establish the 1969 British led Vanuatu Offshore Centre through Pitco, European Bank and privatized the management of Vanuatu Shipping Registry. Why Tom Bayer and associates are eager for Vanuatu to comply with EU agenda ? Why the Natuman government is funding the EU-ACP Parliament meeting through the vote of a supplementary budget with an increasing external debt of 500,000 USD confirmed by the minister of finance ? Hon. Moana Carcasses, Leader of Opposition, have you refused to fund the EU-ACP Parliamentary Meeting of November 2014 because the government is facing financial difficulties ?
