Sat in the ground blind for a few hours this morning. Pretty steady wind and hard gusts every once in a while. Heard a bunch of noise in the leaves but didnt see anything. Turns out it was a chipmunk. I found this out when he showed up in the blind and ran into my boot. It seems there is a tunnel that comes up in the blind. It always amazes me that a critter that weighs about 3 ounces can sound like a 200 pound deer when it runs and jumps in dead leaves. Oh well at least I got to have a relaxing time.
