Sat nam. I did not come here to gather followers, I came here to make teachers. ~ Yogi Bhajan Why? I ask myself. Whats so special about teaching? Why not just continue to glean all we can from the master and lead teachers? Then after having taught a particularly satisfying class during a turbulent personal stage I got it. When we take to the teaching dias and tune-in with the Adi Mantra all the case, woes, crap and ego just slips away and for that time we teach we are connected to that vibration or entity (or whatever you so choose to call it). We are in an existence with less or maybe no attachment to the outcomes of earthly challenges. We are acting on moments that are spirit/soul driven. We are, to put it bluntly, out of the crap. The more we teach, the more we stay out of the shit pile and soon we are able to sustain that ability past the time in class and that way of thinking and behaving becomes our norm. Or at the very least, the ratio begins to change. Teaching makes us better people. It imbues us with grace, compassion and a healthy detachment from things that do not serve our true Self. Teaching is our greatest teacher. Wahe Guru!
