Sat on my bed last night and it collapsed; thats when I remembered Id made temporary repairs with toothpicks over a year ago and never bothered to do a proper, permanent fix. Those toothpicks were never meant to hold the weight that was put on them day in and day out. Thats what we do all the time- depend on things and people that were only meant to be there temporarily and when things fall apart were frustrated. Lets take time to allow God to do permanent repairs and forge covenant relationships that can hold the weight of what were about to step into.
