Satan Is? Yes he is, but so IS God! Satan is a creation and God - TopicsExpress

Satan Is? Yes he is, but so IS God! Satan is a creation and God is not a creation but is THE Creator! God creates by speaking things into existence. Satan is a cherub and not an angel. To call all of the occupants of heaven angels is like calling all elephants fish or birds. God does have a classification system and gives them names as He sees fit. Being that angels and other living things have been created by God, He gives them bodies that He wants them to have, and gives names to classify them. We should not confuse the word host to mean angels only. That word refers to all of the many (host of) things He has created which includes the cherub and elders and angels, etc. Since Satan is a creation he cannot be omnipotent, omniscient, or omnipresent even though he wishes for you to think so. Those qualities belong to God only. Satan wants to be God and have God become his servant. But God is not about to give up His position to anyone nor to Satan or His heavenly hosts. There is no other position higher than the one He holds as the one God and creator of all things. Sin was found in Satan and so he was cast out of heaven and Satan took one third of the angels with him, and with his bird like tail, tossed them to earth ahead of himself. Satan did not want to be God because he knew he could not create things like God can. He wanted the position of God with authority over all that God had created and over God Himself so God would have to do his bidding! With the creator under his control, he would be invincible. He would become boss of the big boss known as God! All of creation would have to obey him including God. This would make him a god of Gods. Then he would sit in the throne and God would have to step down. Satan was not satisfied with being just a handsome cherub. He wanted more than that which he was given and made for. He wanted the glory that belongs to God only!
