Satan is a major obstacle. It seeks especially to prevent souls to seek refuge in Christ to be saved. He blind them, lest the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God cannot enlightens them(2 Corinthians 4:4-6 ). There was a time when he tried to make the name of Christ was not even mentioned. Today this is no longer possible, but seeks diligently to prevent it from being testified to the value of His death. He does not object too much that the souls think about the narrow door, but he does everything so they do not enter! He knows that we can know the history of Christ and His miracles without being saved. But what he opposed with all his strength is that we come to God through Christ crucified for salvation, and that we come to the risen Savior and ascended to heaven for the justification and glory.
