Satan is the father of liars and father of murderers. Satan was not kind. Satan tried to imply to Eve that she would become very rich and even like God. He lied to her. He wanted to destroy. Liars are those who destroy. At the same time kindness, truthfulness and gentleness is of heaven. Of course no one can be truly kind and gentle if that person is a liar. For that reason Jesus said that many appear to be lambs who are really dangerous beasts. Proverbs 19:22 施行仁慈的、令人愛慕．窮人強如說謊言的。 “What is desirable in a man is his kindness, And it is better to be a poor man than a liar.” Many people often do not think of Bible teachers as liars when they are teaching from the word of God. This is especially dangerous to those who put their trust in someone without checking the word of God. The great danger is to be proven a liar by adding to his word. Proverbs 30:6 他的言語、你不可加添、恐怕他責備你、你就顯為說謊言的。 “Do not add to His words Or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar.” As animals sometimes destroy and devour each other so do humans through the lie. When we are foolish we will listen to liars and believe liars or we will use the lie for our benefit. Proverbs 17:4 行惡的留心聽奸詐之言．說謊的側耳聽邪惡之語。”An evildoer listens to wicked lips; A liar pays attention to a destructive tongue.” The greatest danger to all men and women is when politicians, theologians, professors in universities and anyone else with authority speak with authority using the lie. The consequence is destructive for the world. When this happens mankind does not have peace on the earth. In eternity everyone who listened to these people and believed these people also will dwell with them in darkness.
