Satan will be killed Why has God not killed the devil? It is because the time had not come for Him to do so. God Almighty has time for everything. He cannot be pushed or rushed. Right from the time of the tragedy at Eden , God Almighty had passed a sentence of death on the devil; it was a suspended sentence that will be carried out in future. God will in due time bruise the head of the serpent through the seed of the woman, Christ Jesus Christ. (Genesis 3:14, 15; compare Romans 16:20) God almighty has not carried out the sentence because of the imperative need to vindicate His name and word by giving the devil enough time to prove his boast that all mankind will turn away from God if exposed to adversity.
