Satans deceptions are very smooth. One of his greatest works in progress is the deception that because a person has the Holy Spirit of God in them that they no longer need bother with obedience to Gods commandments. The Spirit superceeds them is the impression given by Christians that are taught that the 10 commandments were "nailed" to the cross and abolished. First I will say that, the spirit of God leading you to rebel against the commandments of God, is about as likely to happen as Satan casting out Satan. If there is a spirit leading you to reject Gods commandments I can promise you, without the slightest fear of Godly rebuke or correction, that spirit is not employed by God, but by Satan. Many people would like to believe that everything they do is led by the spirit of God and that is our ultimate goal. But the truth of the matter is that as long as we are in the flesh we will contend with the flesh.Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. The spirit of God will only lead where a person is willing to go. If a person is not willing to give up a deception the spirit will not force that person. That`s where choice comes in. A person must pray for discernment to figure out if preconcieved beliefs or teachings may be preventing them from recieving life saving truth. To acknowledge that Gods commandments are good and pure and holy and true is good.Psa 19:8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The entirety of Psalm 119 is in praise of God and his commandments. I recommend reading the entire Psalm for a refreshing and truthfull contrast to what modern Christianity has done to Gods commandments. There are many new testaments verses that are rendered untrue or meaningless if the 10 comandments are abolished. We will discuss just a few of a multitude. 1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. If there is no law , there cannot be sin, by what will mankind be judged when Jesus returns? Mans opinion of himself? Not hardly. Everybody is quick to vote themselves into heaven. No, it will be done God`s way according to what is written. Next let`s look at one most of Christianity flat refuse to believe. If the commandments are abolished then Jesus was lying through His teeth when He made this statement: Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. The word “fulfill” means to “verify…fully preach, perfect…fill (up)…(make) full” (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance). In other words, Jesus came to verify and perfect the Ten Commandments—to expand their meaning. Matthew 5 is then filled with examples of how Jesus has "raised" the bar of the spiritual intent of the Ten Commandments for today. For instance, Jesus said, “…it was said by them of old time, You shall not kill…but I say…That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment…” (vs. 21-22). Instead of abolishing the commandments, Jesus magnified them (Isa. 42:21).Ministers of this world twist these and other scriptures to sidestep and reject Jesus’ plain meaning about the importance of keeping God’s Law. They dismiss clear verses, such as Paul’s statement, Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. God forbids it, yet teachers and ministers do it every day. How is that? Here are two that are crucial ;1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. Many who claim to have love believe God’s Commandments "are" grievous. God declares otherwise! Paul called God’s Law “holy,” “just,” “good” and “spiritual” (Rom. 7:12, 14). The Psalms say it is “perfect…sure…right” and “pure” (19:7-8).Romans 13:10: “Love works no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.” Understand. The Bible defines love as obedience to God’s Law. It is that simple. There is no ambiguity or confusion! Yet most are ignorant of the true definition of love. Ministers everywhere speak endlessly about God’s love, while completely missing all of the vital scriptures that define it.Nor are they willing to demonstrate it the way God intructs His people to demonstrate it.Jesus also said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15). Nowhere does Jesus say, “He who professes to love Me—yet rebells against My commandments—still loves Me.” If you are among the two billion who profess to be Christian, and someone asked you whether you love Jesus Christ, you would surely answer yes. But how would you prove it? What evidence could you provide? Could you be accussed of demonstating your love for God as God insructs you to? and could it be proven beyond a doubt? Or you would you need a high dollar attorney to make it "appear" that way.The bottem line is this.If you state as your belief that the commandments are abolished then by your confesion of said belief you are stating at the same time that you don`t believe a very large portion of the new testament. So that would indicate your belief that the Bible is "not" the inspired word of God and that men were "not" moved by the spirit of God to write it, but merely wrote whatever seemed best to them.1Sa 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 1Sa 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. God desires obedience above all for the definition of love "is" obedience to God. Simple as can be. God equates rebellion against His commandments to witchcraft. Only a very powerfull decieving Spirit can maintain victory over so many for so long. To submit to Gods authority(commandments) and to obey Him, however imperfectly, is still faithfulness. Whenever we stumble, we have an advocate, Jesus Christ the righteous to interceed on our behalf because our desire is to obey God. When we know Gods will, His commandments, and we say, No, I will not be ruled by your commandments, I will do it "my" way. That is rebellion. We do "not" have an advocate for that because our desire is "not" to obey God. So if the commandments are "not" nailed to the cross and abolished, then there are millions of professing Christians and their teachers living in rebellion against God and will be lost for eternity if they die without repenting. Are you willing to give up eternity so you can disobey one or two commandments? High steaks for sure. Yaweh I pray that all who read this seek you out in this matter and that they be willing to consider that "all" the Bible is true. Even the scripture that says Satan decieves the whole world. Be a Berean and study out "all" the new testament scriptures that would be untrue or totaly meaningless if the commandments were abolished. Yahweh I pray that you open blind eyes, in Jesus` name. Praise God.
