Saturated fat is GOOD for your health, and you should make sure you eat some daily. Yes, GOOD for your health. If you avoid cakes, biscuits, crisps and other junk, but include food high in fat in your weeks eating like red meat, lamb, eggs, real butter, coconut products, salmon, avocado, olives, nuts and nut butters, you will get lots of quality fats, some of which saturated. How much tbh isn’t a huge concern as long s you are eating sensibly from these real foods. The tide is now turning on the “fat is bad for you eat more bread pasta and kellogs products” information that’s out there. Sweden recently changed to advising people to ditch these foods and eat much more real foods, and not be afraid of some red meat and an egg yolk. This isn’t a call to go have processed sausages and crap food. Its about eating real natural foods. Ask the questions 1. Does it have 4 legs, fins, feathers or a shell? 2. Can you dig it out the ground? 3. Can you pick it off a bush or a tree? 4. Can you forage for it? 5. Is it a single ingredient food. Nothing added nothing taken away? If the answer is yes to these questions then its good to eat pretty much. That’s the short of it This is common knowledge to pretty much everyone in the fitness world, but to the average joe, its still a revelation and a shocker, so worth talking about imo
