Saturday (08/30/14) – The Tarot - Obviously, in this condition, we are more than bound or tied up; we are totally inept to move. It is difficult to pinpoint one single cause for this condition inasmuch as there’s probably more than one. However, the trigger is normally associated with an internal blocking / hang-up. These arcana tell us that we are at a painful crossroads, but the situation is all the more complicated because, in this state, we feel completely deprived of our power of choice; we feel imprisoned and unable to take any step towards any direction. So what remains is to promote an intense inmost work. Somehow, we need to take advantage of this absolute stillness so as to penetrate the deepest recesses of our true “self”. It takes an attitude of passiveness, upon which, through meditation and internalization, we will seek to recover our “spiritual strength” in order to tear the ties, take off the blindfold and retrieve an active stance. Thus, we should let go of thinking and seek release by means of a process of radical inner transformation. Only then shall we be free to continue our existential journey, as well as recover the awareness of the events around us - J. M.
