Saturday, 11th October DILIGENCE IS KEY! “In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.” (Proverbs 14:23) Have you ever wondered how the largest corporations and companies of the world were built, or how the great and highly beneficial institutions of our times were established? Certainly not by mere words only, but with the invaluable investment of diligent efforts and expertise over time! In all labor there is profit. Meaning, diligence yields profit. If you want to see more profits in any area of your life, your input of diligence is absolutely required. Merely talking and wishful thinking achieves nothing, but “Work brings profit…” (Prov. 14:23 TLB). Decide to become more diligent than ever in whatever God has committed into your hands. Make up your mind to see more results and get working on a set plan. Complaining achieves nothing. Work brings profit. Your efforts become more productive when you acquire the necessary skills. Ecclesiastes 10:10 says “A dull axe requires great strength; be wise and sharpen the blade” (TLB). You sharpen your blade or increase your results by acquiring relevant knowledge. Thus be a student in whatever field you are involved. Be a reader, a learner and a doer of what you learn. Work, because work brings profit. The profit you gain is more than the financial remunerations. Skill and expertise are results of diligence. Build a legacy of prosperity on the foundation of diligence. Become more diligent today! Prayer: Glorious Father, I thank you for your word today. I refuse to be a mere talker, but an active worker and producer of lasting results. Diligence is my character, and excellence is my drive. I take advantage of every vital information in building the required skill and expertise to be productively ahead of my generation in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
