Saturday, 15th June WORSHIP THE LORD “Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.” (1 Chronicles 16:8, 29). Worship is one of the most beautiful things we are admonished by the Lord to do. It’s more of a lifestyle than an activity. The Lord loves the worship of His people, He so cherishes it when you lift your hands and voice as a sacrifice of praise to Him. Worship makes you more conscious of the Father, of His love and goodness and thus positions you to experience more of such in your life. Ungrateful people never see the importance of worship. Their eyes are always so blinded by the present challenges they face and the devil keeps giving them a thousand reasons to stay bitter, thus keeping them from God’s best. Refuse to be in such a place. Don’t let anybody or past experiences keep you embittered and separated from God’s best. Refuse to be discouraged. Worship changes the atmosphere around you; it brings a heavenly bliss to your life and encourages the ministry of angels on your behalf. Begin to thank the Lord today for the things He’s done in your life, not only in private. Testify of it in the congregation of the saints: “…make known his deeds among the people.” That’s also an act of worship—a way of ascribing worth to the Father. It is very wrong to have received a miracle or healing from the Lord and hide it. Go and testify of His goodness. Your testimonies bring faith to the heart of others, greater victories to you, and glory to the Father. And learn to bring the Lord an offering. Plan your seeds ahead of time for the King of glory. When you give, give Him a worthy offering and the best there is. He delights in your giving, for your giving is a reflection of your love for Him. Be a true worshipper! Prayer: Beautiful Lord, Glorious Father, I lift my voice in adoration and praise to your holy name, for all your wondrous acts and merciful kindness towards me. Be magnified forever; be glorified in my life in Jesus Name. Amen. Further Insight: John 4:24 Study Plan: Judges 10-11
