Weather Situation A low to the southeast of Tasmania will continue to slowly move away across the southern Tasman Sea tonight as a weakening cold front crosses the Bight and a high moves over western Victoria. The high will move over New South Wales tomorrow with an associated ridge crossing Tasmania in the morning while a cold front approaches from the west, expected to cross the state overnight an a new high develops to the southwest. This high will then pass just south of Tasmania on Sunday then move away across the Tasman Sea on Monday, with a strengthening northerly flow expected ahead of an approaching cold front.
