Saturday, December 27, 2014 A gay couple who were the victims of homophobic graffiti on their front door hit back in the best way possible. The pair spotted the word faggots had been carved into their front door below their Christmas wreath. But instead of taking offence and getting angry about it, they managed to see a funny side and crafted a hilarious response. The pair sanded away the bigots nasty graffiti and stuck a brilliant note over it. Addressed to the individual that scrawled the word faggots into our door, it read: We regret to inform you that you completely failed to use glitter paint and/or sequins, your work looked rushed, and your handwriting was positively atrocious. It is for these reasons that we had to remove your work from our door with sandpaper. Fabulously yours, The Gays in Apt. 611. The couple were not named but the incident, which was originally reported on Reddit, was believed to have happened in the US earlier this week. It isnt the first time homophobia has been bested by wit. Earlier this year a cracker company hit headlines when they turned a homophobic backlash against featuring a gay couple in their advert into a heartwarming advert about love.
