Saturday, December 6: Dane’s only request for the day was that he get to rope something. So we are in Vegas – a million things to do and see - and we are looking for a roping dummy. So we venture off the the NRS world – and he finds a roping dummy – so he ropes – and ropes. His birthday is Tuesday – the only thing he has asked for is for us to let him rope a real calf on his real horse. SO I am praying about this………… “Listen to your father who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old. Buy truth, and do not sell it; buy wisdom, instruction, and understanding. The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice; he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him. Let your father and mother be glad; let her who bore you rejoice.” Psalms 23:22-25. So I rejoice in the fact that Dane is determined, I rejoice that God give him desire and drive in his life, and I am trusting the Lord for guidance as we walk this path. We have met and seen new and old friends. Dane got to visit with his favorite Heeler, Patrick Smith and his family. We went to the rodeo tonight and Dane is the commentator on the roping – well – for us he was – he’s got it all figured out. So tomorrow we will go to Elevation Sunday and they will show a video about our journey. Pray with us that the Lord is magnified – that He is our focus. “We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 1:12 Glory to God…….Sunday’s coming……..
