Saturday Evening Update on Randy: July 19...Randy is getting better each day! I see improvement in so many little areas, and Im confident that recovery is coming, albeit slowly! His appetite continues to increase and his portion size is almost normal. I am still the food coach, insisting that he eat just a little more!! Im sure that will come too, with time! He is still weak, though he moves around more each day without his walker!! And...we have enjoyed some time on the patio, and some nice car rides!! Tuscaloosa looks different to us now...life looks a bit different! Clinically, Id say that he is still not producing red blood cells as quickly as Id like to see, but Im sure that will improve!! Im not sure about weight gain, probably not much...if any. But I still think he is holding his own!! My goodness, he has come so so far in just a few weeks!! We daily are thankful for this miracle! The Lord is so faithful and we just love Him more! As you enter worship tomorrow, please remember to pray for us....we need you to be our Aarons...holding up our arms as they weary during this battle! Specifics would include: nutrition, red blood cells to reproduce (lots!), continued protection from infection, strength for every part of Randys being: spiritually, emotionally, physically. Please pray for our appointment on Tuesday. Pray for the wisdom of the doctors. Pray for the decisions made concerning future treatments. Pray For The Miracle for cancer to be gone! Just go ahead and ASK GOD TO MOVE MIGHTILY!!!
