Saturday-Good Morning! A Thought: By A River Side! And on the Sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted there. (Acts 16:13) Paul, Silas and Luke with possibly others, venture beyond the city limits of Philippi, and find a place by a river that seems to have been a common place to pray, where often gathered those who desired to pray. Most Christians have special or designated places for prayer, a place at home to kneel and pray or maybe a rock or stump out a little piece from their home. The LORD said my house shall be called the House of Prayer, and we sure ought to engage ourselves with others and fill the prayer altars once again, as we lift our prayers up to The LORD talking with HIM about all of our concerns and needs. Should we not once again frequent those places of prayers where GOD has heard our cries in the past and sent the help that we needed so badly? GOD Bless and have a great day.
