Saturday I was in carltonville and I heard someone preaching about the image of God. He said, God created us in His own image so that He can be able to see Himself in us. Its like when you look at the mirror, you see yourself nothing else. This made me wonder if God sees Himself when He looks at us, with all the negative minds that we have, with all the selfish mentality and attitudes that we have, with all the hatred we have on others, with all the anger we have. � Ephesians 5: 1-2 Paul says we must be imitators of God. In which way do you identify yourself with God, what character that you have is in line with your God? When God looks at you, what is He proud of when He looks at you? I understand we are not perfect but we have the DNA of God and it should be easy for us to be identified as christlike. And for this to happen, the word of God speak of how you can be of God because everything that is of God is in you. Stop wanting to be like the world because you are not of this world. Stop conforming to the standards of this world but be transformed to the kingdom�s standards where you belong. Renew your mind everyday and find out from the word what God wants out of you, find out from His word and through prayer how He can use you for His glory on earth as it is in heaven. You can be like your Father because you even have the mind of Christ. Righteous living is one of the keys that can help you be the absolute image of God. Live to please Him who created you for the life you live is all about Him. � Your image is very important to God as you are Him. If you believe you are Him, what do you need to do to be like Him and think like Him? Start acting today to be His image.
