Saturday I was one of the parade announcers, as in past years. I was greatly impressed by the professionalism of Stuart Holthaus and his crew as they set up the sound system. Stuart, who was chairman of the parade, had about a half dozen people with him. They jumped off the truck, quickly set up the table, shade, chairs and high tech PA. Moments later someone delivered a very professionally produced script. Just as the parade ended, two hours later, they pulled up, swarmed out, and were putting things away. They reminded me nothing so much as the pit crew at the Indy 500 changing tires and making repairs under the gun. Good job!---David Ross, editor.
