Saturday, January 17, 6:30am Last night Sidney slept well. Fresh air and sunshine do wonders for your body. Dr. Einsphar is one duty this weekend and well have one last round with him. Moving to the first floor at Madonna should be a smooth transition. The second floor is the hospital unit and is a totally separate company from the first floor rehabilitation unit. That means we will check out of the hospital and be admitted to the first floor. Insurance will change at that time as well. We will have all new doctors, nurses, therapists, social workers, customer service, you name it, its new. The paperwork follows to the new floor, but they do a few more evaluations. We know there is a ton of work behind the scenes, but we would never know as they go out of their way to make us feel like were the only patient/family in the entire complex. They are wonderful! This weekend will be a rest time for her with Micah, Steve and I continuing the passive therapy with her. Were looking forward to getting moved to room 145 about the time the KU crew and Tonya and Leon show up. Hows that for timing! ❤️
