Saturday, July 13, 2013 ENJOYING THE FATHER’S BLESSING “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” - (EPHESIANS 1:3) In Christ Jesus, we do not beg for God’s blessing but we rather thank God for His blessing on us. In Christ Jesus, your focus changes, likewise your position and by virtue of your new position, you have a new possession. However, enjoying the Father’s blessing requires that you have knowledge and understanding of your new position and possession. Many folks in the body of Christ presumed that the Father’s blessing is when they have cars, build nice houses, bank account filled with sufficient naira, a good wardrobe and many others but this is not, though walking in the Father’s blessing will result in all of these but the Father’s blessing is none these. God’s blessing to man is just One (SINGULAR), and it is spiritual not physical. The blessing been positioned with Christ in the heavenly places connotes that it is not shoe, neither car nor fat account. Many on the other hand claimed Abraham’s blessing as “blessings” in terms of cattles, sheep, gold and silver. THIS IS NOT! God promised Abraham One thing, it is Abraham’s commitment and focus to that One thing that resulted in his wealth. Galatians 3:14 says, “That the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” God promised Abraham Himself, Abraham knew this and committed himself to God and he enjoys God’s favor before kings even his mistakes God overlooked and gave him as a prophet to a nation (Genesis 20:3-7). AND THAT IS GRACE! God’s blessing to you is Himself and Christ is the fullness of God dwelling in you right now as children of light. Your focus is not to the external but to the wealth of the Substance within. Your relationship with the personality within you and how much you allow Him to live through you is what determine the speed and serenity you enjoy in this world. In Christ, protection is not a personal acquisition but it is the Father’s responsibility. In Him, prayers cannot be hindered. Your peace in this world is not by virtue of your wealth but by the wealth of your virtue. And your virtue is Christ in you. Your greatest miracle in life is the change of nature from a dead nature to Divine nature and this happen by virtue of the Spirit you have received. Never cease thanking Him for He has blessed you with all of Himself. You are guaranteed of heavenly experience in all spheres of life because you are blessed. CONFESSION: I am blessed. I have the Father’s blessing at work in me. I enjoy the Supernatural presence of God. I enjoy favor before kings today. All that I have is blessed. Christ is in me. I cannot be curse, Jesus took away my sorrow, my pain and grief. I am forever blessed in Christ in Jesus Name.
