Saturday June 21, 2014 was officially proclaimed, from the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Oshawa Be Brave for Braydy day… And what an amazing beautiful day it was!… We gained 114 donors for the bone marrow registry! A gift that cannot compare to anything else in the world. A huge THANK YOU to every donor who has signed up to potentially save a life! That is a grand sucess on its on. We would not have been able to enjoy the festivities were it not for the amazing volunteers! Each and every one of you gave your precious time to help us . For that we will always be grateful applaud your selfless act. Canadian Blood Services were able to break records with the amount of eligible blood donors as well. We were able to happily donate $1000 of the event funds raise; in combination with a with a sponsorship from The Mens Progress Club matching our $1000! All in all, it was a tremendously heartwarming day. We had friends and family from near and far come and support us. Some we hadnt seen since the diagnosis, and it was so great to wrap our arms around them and melt into their embrace. Your love and concern runs very deep and it keeps Jamie and I strong and feeling loved. For that, we thank each of you. To our families who helped make this happen, we couldnt done it without a collaborated effort, so thank YOU all. To our daughters, Faith and Braydy, for being such wonderful, beautiful little hostesses. Last but not least, our extremely talented niece Jerica Rose; you are a true inspiration! Great job with coordinating this amazing, Be Brave For Braydy, Super Blood Party. We love you and will never forget your heartfelt and compassionate efforts! I was no where near the help I should have been, and you took it all in stride with that beautiful smile always upon your face. Thank you all from the bottom of our Brave hearts.
