Saturday Morning Prayer: Heavenly Father, I wish everyone well and pray for every person to have health, happiness, peace, joy and success in life and there is no person that I want to see have failure in the attempt to do good things. My prayers are for everyone to have the good blessings of life. But Lord, my life experiences have taught me that regardless of what we may want for others, there will be times when life doesnt go right for them, and even sometimes, for ourselves. Last year, forty-four funerals conducted, hundreds of hospital calls made and the painful observation of broken relationships reminds me that life is not always made of successful plans and positive results. And, its not always fair and just. So Lord, in the midst of well-wishes for a good year, I pray for all of those, and maybe including ourselves, who will have life disrupted by difficult things. May our lives be blessed, but even in times when blessings dont come as we would like, may we find grace in your eyes and a present help in time of trouble. In Jesus Name, AMEN.
