Saturday Morning update: As expected Tropical Storm Fay developed in the Atlantic. Tropical Storm Warning for Bermuda as Fay blows by this weekend. That will be the last of Fay. To the South and East is disturbance #1 (aka 90L). Conditions are likely to improve for development and this may become Gonzalo next week. Several East Coast trofs (jet stream dips) are expected to develop in the Eastern United States next week. This will likely keep the system well to the east. It could stall briefly near or in the Bahamas so that is the main concern at this point in time. Behind this is disturbance #2 (aka 91L). As noted yesterday, even if conditions became favorable for any development, it will never make it across the Atlantic.
