Saturday Movie Matinee: Bad influence (Full Movie) This is a classic noir from 1990. One of our favorite such films from that period. James Spader is a meek office worker who one night encounters Rob Lowe at a bar. Over the next few weeks, Lowe convinces Spader to become more and more daring in his life, to “take charge” of what’s going on around him. Well, we all know how that’s going to end. Written by David Koepp, who’s responsible for the screenplays for Apartment Zero, Jurassic Park, Carlito’s Way, Snake Eyes, Panic Room and a lot of other great films; directed by Curtis Hanson, who also directed The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, The River Wild, L.A.
