Saturday Night Sermon! I saw an article on FB earlier today about a man who divorced his wife and then successfully sued her. For what, you ask? Because she provided him with ugly children. Thats right! I had to read the article twice to make sure that was indeed the reasoning behind his actions. Personally, I dont think an ugly baby is even possible. I know I have never seen one. I mean, I remember when my son was born, he was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. He is still a cute kid almost 10 years later. Thanks to my wife, and the Good Lord, of course! I ask you parents...are your kids ugly? I dont think any of you will say yes. We have all seen those babies that are like little living dolls. Melissa Briley Smith, has one in little Briley. This is just one. And we all know one. But an ugly baby? I dont think so! If we read and understand the Bible, it says we were all created in his image. And yet no two of us are alike. Even identical twins are different in some ways. Isnt it amazing to consider the creativeness of our God! Even his sense of humor! I mean, who could have ever dreamed up a platypus? Think about that one for awhile. And since we know that we are all Gods creatures, created in his image, it makes all of us beautiful creatures in his eyes. And that is more than enough for me. So...the moral of the story is...the man in the above story..simply needs to be introduced to Jesus! But then again, that would solve all of the worlds problems, now wouldnt it?
